The tour starts at Voortrekker Monument where the history of the Afrikaner, the Great Trek and battle of Blood River is illustrated on rock plaques.
We then visit Church square – one of the city’s first churches, built in 1855, Melrose House and Union buildings – the official seat of the national government.
